SHIBARI LIFE DRAWING
An immersive shibari life drawing experience exploring sensuality, vulnerability, and the sculptural interplay of body and rope.
Guided by artist Gabi Kuz, participants will be invited into intuitive life drawing to explore the beauty of the human form and the art of rope. Through gentle guidance and creative prompts, we slow down, soften the analytical mind, and draw from presence rather than perfection.
Live models Kailey Baxstrome and Sam Petrin will move through a series of intimate poses and rope compositions, including moments of shibari — the Japanese art of rope. The tying process itself becomes part of the artistic experience, revealing evolving lines, tension, power, and vulnerability within the body.
Participants are invited to observe deeply and capture the shifting relationship between form, movement, rope, and human expression.
This is a space to witness, create, and reconnect with your creative aliveness.
No drawing experience is required.

WHAT TO BRING?
Curiosity
Water bottle
Bring your preferred drawing materials, such as sketchbooks, pencils, erasers, charcoal, or ink pens. Although we do provide guests with all of these, we have a limited amount, so it's a good idea to pack a range of supplies, allowing you to experiment with different techniques and styles. We always provide paper and drawing boards.
Kailey Baxstrome
Kailey Baxstrome is a master alchemist and multidisciplinary artist forged through profound initiations, including spiritual and Kundalini awakenings, openings into interspecies collective consciousness, and surviving a fatal car accident.
A lived sense of radical freedom inspires her artistry—spanning poetry, modeling, and shibari—where she embodies and channels the muse, weaving sovereignty, surrender, eros, inquiry, and devotion to God into living artistic transmissions. She is currently enlivened by themes of ecosensuality, the interplay of ferocity and gentleness, and collective liberation.
Sam Petrin
Sam is a somatically trained facilitator who approaches shibari as both an art and attunement practice. With a background in creative modelling and expressive photoshoots, she has explored the intersection of form, embodiment, and visual storytelling.
Her background in group facilitation, ceremony, and nervous system work allows her to hold spaces that are intentional, consent-centred, and deeply present. As a rigger, Samantha weaves technical care with intuitive listening, creating grounded, artful experiences that honour both the model and the witnessing space.
Gabriele Kuzabaviciute
Gabriele Kuz is an artist, mystic, and community builder who guides people to reconnect with their inner child, creative essence, and inner power through drawing and self-expression.
Her work explores imagination, perception, and the power of creativity to reshape how we understand reality. She believes imagination is a gateway to consciousness — bridging psychology, art, and spirituality into lived experience.
